Create Facebook application
 
This tutorial walks you through the process of creating a Facebook application. After you complete the configuration steps, the application is automatically hosted on the Corners platform. Your application will be live instantaniously.
 
 
Add application to Facebook
Step 1:
Login to facebook.com
 
Step 2:
Add Developer application to your profile by navigating Create a Facebook Application
 
Step 3:
In the Application box, select Developer application.    (Click the link for a picture)
 
Step 4:
In the right hand view of the facebook page click on Apply for an Application Key.
 
Step 5:
5.1.    Name: Give any name to your application

Click on optional fields link to expand the optional fields form.

5.2.    Fill the form fields instructed below.    (Click the link for a picture)
Callback URL:       http://www.corners.in/openapps/
Canvas URL:       http://apps.facebook.com/anytext/
Use FBML Radio button:       Yes
Application Type:       Select Website.
Can your application be added on facebook:       Yes.    (See illustraton)
Who can add your application to facebook account:       Check "Users" box
Who can add ...       Also select "All pages" option.

 
Step 6:
Save your Application

Retain your facebook configuration summary to use it in the next step.
 
 
 
Corners Configuration
Step 9:
In "My Desk" page, click on Create new application
 
Step 10:
10.1.      Select Facebook as the Host

10.2.    Fill the form fields instructed below.    (Click the link for a picture)
Corner Url Name       The last part of a corner url link. Example: In http://www.corners.in/corners/britneyspears', the url name is britneyspears. Note that there are no spaces in the url name."
 
 
10.3. Fill information from Facebook -
Canvas Url Name       http://apps.facebook.com/myapplication     (Replace "myapplication" with the value
you entered for Canvas URL.)
 
DONE. Launch your application by navigating to your canvas URL (ex: http://apps.bebo.com/myapplication)
 
 
Submission of the App
 
    Go back to your Facebook Developer Application page, and select your application and click the link "Submit" click here to see the Picture
